A Little About Me
I'm an Alabama licensed home inspector and the owner of Hamby Home Inspections.
Before becoming a home inspector, I founded Scout Home Services, where I have spent years working hands-on in residential homes. That experience taught me how homes are put together, how they change over time, and where problems are most likely to develop.
Today, I use that experience to help buyers get a straightforward picture of the home before making a decision to purchase it.
Independence
Hamby Home Inspections operates independently from Scout Home Services.
Scout will not perform repairs based on one of my inspections, so my recommendations are based solely on what I observe and not on generating additional work.
That separation is intentional. My responsibility is to provide an honest assessment of the home's condition, not to recommend work for another business.
