A Little About Me
I'm an Alabama licensed home inspector and the owner of Hamby Home Inspections.
Before becoming a home inspector, I spent years working in residential homes through my family's business and later as a co-owner of Scout Home Services. That experience gave me a practical understanding of how homes are built, how they age, and where problems commonly develop.
Today, my focus is entirely on home inspections. I enjoy helping buyers better understand the homes they're considering and providing information that's practical, balanced, and easy to understand.
Independence
Hamby Home Inspections operates independently from Scout Home Services.
While I'm a co-owner of Scout Home Services, I believe a home inspection should be completely objective. To avoid any conflict of interest, Scout does not perform repairs based on homes I inspect.
That separation is intentional. My responsibility is to provide an honest assessment of the home's condition—not to recommend work for another business.
